Invitation from the Host Country
Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the Danish Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (DASAIM), I would like to invite you to attend the Annual meeting of the European Society of Anaesthesiology “Euroanaesthesia 2008”, which will take place in Copenhagen from May 31st to June 3rd 2008.
Copenhagen is a wonderful city, and during late May and early June, is really at its best. Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark has agreed to be Patron of the Congress, and you can walk from her Palace along the water front through the main street to Tivoli and experience the heart of Copenhagen. You can also visit one of the many museums or the newly built opera house; there are truly hundreds of opportunities and places to see. The Copenhageners themselves are very helpful. They can be a little forthright, but in a very charming way.
Euroanaesthesia has grown during the years and is now the European equivalent of the ASA meetings in the USA. It has everything, presentation of the most recent scientific results, updates in all aspect of our speciality, lectures by well-known international speakers, etc. The best however, is that anaesthesiologists from all over in Europe meet, learn, discuss and socialise. Consecutive ESA Congresses have certainly been the annual events which tie anaesthesiologists from all parts of Europe together. Come on and join us! We look forward to welcoming you.
