The pre-registration period for Euroanaesthesia 2008 ended on May 9 at midnight (CET). Registration forms are no longer available online.

Forms received after the time mentioned above will not be processed.

You will be able to register on-site at the Bella Congress Center (Copenhagen, Denmark) at the “on site registration” desks.

Passport & Visa

Each delegate and accompanying person is responsible for having a valid passport for entry into Denmark.

Participants requiring a visa for entry into Denmark are advised to submit their application in their home country at least two months prior to the intended date of travel. Please check with the Danish Embassy in your country to determine if a VISA is required. For delegates requiring an invitation letter in order to obtain a visa, please tick the appropriate box on the registration form or alternatively contact the ESA Secretariat by fax (+32-(0)2-743 32 98) with your written request. The letter of invitation does not cover registration fees or any related expenses and is considered a formality to facilitate the process of obtaining a VISA for Denmark for those delegates requiring this document.

Accompanying Persons

 Accompanying Persons are not allowed to attend the scientific programmes.

The registration fee for an Accompanying Person includes access to the industrial exhibition, coffee breaks and a free Travel Pass for a minimum of 3 days (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)

Individuals without a badge may attend the Award and Opening Ceremonies & Welcome Reception only if accompanied by a registered delegate

Children

Children may attend the Award and Opening Ceremonies. Only children over 12 years of age that are registered as Accompanying Persons are entitled to restricted access, dictated by the Accompanying Persons Policy.

Otherwise, for safety reasons, children under 12 are not allowed in the congress centre.

CME Accreditation

Accreditation for the Euroanaesthesia 2008 meeting has been requested to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME - Institution of the UEMS) and the Belgian INAMI.

Physicians may have their EACCME credit converted to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit TM by applying to the American Medical Association at www.ama-assn.org/go/cme.

Lost badges policy

Replacement badges are charged at 70 euro per day, refundable if you find your lost badge later.

Language

All sessions of the Scientific Programme are exclusively in English.

  • Access to Trade Exhibition, all Official Functions, and Coffee Breaks
  • One congress bag containing the Final Programme and Refresher Course Book
  • Abstract CD-ROM
  • Travel Pass for 3 days (Saturday, Sunday, Monday)

The above documents, congress bag and badge will be made available in the pre-registration area to all delegates who have received written confirmation of completed registration with a registration number issued by the ESA Secretariat.

Cancellations / refunds

 Registration cancellations and requests for refund of the registration fee for Euroanaesthesia Meeting must be received in writing at the ESA Secretariat no later than 45 days prior to the first day of an Annual Meeting (Monday, 16 April 2008, 0.00). Beyond this period, refunds for cancellation are not applicable.

Eligible refunds, net of a 50 Euro administration fee, are transacted after the Annual Meeting.

ESA Membership fees are non-refundable.

One day tickets 

One day tickets may be purchased only at the congress centre on the day of attendance.

Press registration

 Free registrations are not allocated to the press. Individuals from the press can either buy a full registration, a one-day registration or an access badge to the industrial exhibition only.
