Getting there and around
Helsinki is easily accessible by air, sea and land. The main airport is Vantaa airport located around 20 km from Helsinki city centre.
From airport to city centre by bus
Bus services from Helsinki City take you to the airport comfortably and rapidly:
- To Helsinki City by bus 615 (around 35 minutes).
- Finnair City Bus to downtown Helsinki. For timetables go to Finnair's website.
- There are a number of other bus connections from various parts of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area to the airport. The timetables are available on the HSL website.
From airport to city centre by taxi
The taxi journey from the airport to the centre of Helsinki takes close to 30 minutes and costs about €35-40. The taxi stations are located right outside the arrival areas of the terminals.
