Delegates

The registration fee for full participants includes:
  • Admission to all scientific and educational sessions of the congress
  • One Congress bag containing the Final Programme and Refresher Course/Abstracts CD Rom

Complimentary registered delegates will receive:

  • Access to the opening ceremony, welcome reception & coffee breaks
  • Access to the industrial exhibition area
  • One Travel Pass, for use on buses, trams & metro

The above documents, congress badge and bag will be available in the pre-registration area upon arrival for all delegates who have received a barcoded registration confirmation letter issued by the ESA Secretariat. To print your badge, you must scan your barcoded confirmation letter upon arrival at the pre-registered delegates scanning area.

Accompanying persons

Accompanying Persons (AP) are not allowed to attend scientific sessions.

The Accompanying Person registration costs €80 (including VAT) and can be purchased together with a delegate's registration (only one-day delegates will be able to buy a one-day AP badge). An AP registration includes:

  • Access to the opening ceremony and welcome reception
  • Access to the industrial exhibition, coffee breaks
  • One Travel Pass (when registered for the whole of the congress)

Individuals who want to attend the Award and Opening Ceremonies and Welcome Reception need to have a Guest badge.

This Guest badge can be collected only by a delegate with a badge at the ESA Secretariat in the registration area, Level 3.

Passport / Visa / Invitation letter

Each delegate and accompanying person is responsible for having a valid passport for entry into France. Participants requiring a VISA for entry into France are advised to submit their application in their home country at least two months prior to the intended date of travel. Please check with the French Embassy in your country to determine if a VISA is required.

Delegates requiring an Invitation letter in order to obtain a VISA will receive this automatically together with their registration confirmation. The letter of invitation does not cover registration fees or any related expenses and is considered a formality to facilitate the process of obtaining a VISA for entry into France. Cancellations due to VISA refusal /delay are non refundable.

Congress language

All sessions of the Scientific Programme are exclusively in English.

Press registration

Individuals from the press can collect a free one-day badge at the ESA Secretariat desk on site (subject to approval of press credentials by the ESA Secretariat). That badge will have to be returned the same day. For any additional day(s), they will have to collect a new free one-day badge.
A press badge allows access to the poster area, exhibition and scientific sessions.

However, press badge holders cannot access:

  • any additional fee paying workshops with limited attendance
  • the Basic Sciences Anaesthetic Course sessions (taking place at the same venue as Euroanaesthesia)
