Media operation at Euroanaesthesia
8/4/2011 3:08:00 PM
For the first time, press releases for Euroanaesthesia - the European Anaesthesiology congress - were written and distributed. There were three press releases: one on a new way of imaging the brain that showed for the first time what happens when consciousness is lost (Pollard); one about the failure of a large majority of anaesthesiologists to carry out cardiac output monitoring (Cannesson); and one about two trials of the use of hypnosis with local anaesthesia in thyroid and breast cancer surgery (Watremez/Roelants).
All received significant coverage from around the world. See the articles published here.
