*Part I Upgrade Fee
Candidates applying for the Part I examination in a country where the Part I examination is mandatory and following a training in anaesthesia in this country with the purpose of achieving the national diploma in anaesthesia are entitled to a reduced Part I application fee. The official national bodies in charge of organising the Part I examination in these countries and the ESA can confirm this fee to the eligible candidates, who should apply for their Part I examination through their National Society and not directly to the ESA.
|
In 2008, Part I candidates applying for the Budapest centre will not follow these regulations and will have to send their applications directly to the ESA and not to the Hungarian Society of Anaesthesiology. |
After they have passed their Part I examination and in order to become eligible for the Part II, these candidates have to pay:
-
the “Part I Upgrade Fee”, which is the difference between the Part I full application fee (240 Euro) and the reduced fee they paid for the Part I. This “Part I Upgrade Fee” must be paid before the end of the year after that in which the candidates sat their Part I examination. If they wish to take their Part II examination before that date, they will have to pay their Part I Upgrade Fee before or when applying for the EDA Part II.
And
If you have paid a reduced Part I application fee this year and wish to take the EDA Part II examination next year, fill in and send back the Part I Upgrade Fee form before or when you apply for the Part II examination. If you have paid a reduced Part I application fee this year and wish to take the EDA Part II later than next year, please download, fill in and send back the Part I Upgrade Fee form before 31 December next year.
**Completion Fee
Diplomas are issued only after payment of the completion fee.
Candidates are not allowed to refer to their status as Diplomate of the ESA until the diploma has been issued.
Diploma recipients are invited to attend the Euroanaesthesia Awards Ceremony where the diplomas are presented and are also entitled to a reduced registration fee to attend the Euroanaesthesia meeting if they wish.
